What KPP collects

Depending on the form you use, KPP may collect your name, email, city or country, generation information, relationship to Filipino heritage, contribution text, uploaded files, format and attribution choices, consent confirmations, consent date and time, terms version and submission reference.

• Managing and reviewing submissions
• Contacting contributors and offering editorial guidance
• Recording consent and age confirmation
• Publishing the attribution agreed with the contributor
• Protecting contributors, third parties and KPP

What is never displayed by default

KPP does not publicly display contributor email addresses, private phone numbers or private contact details without explicit agreement.

Where submissions go

Expression-of-interest details are delivered through KPP’s existing protected submission route to the KPP team. Final contribution files and consent records are stored privately in KPP-controlled site storage and referenced in the team’s submission notification. They are not public upload links.

How long information is kept

KPP keeps submission and consent records only as long as reasonably needed for editorial review, consent documentation, publication management, safeguarding and legal obligations. Material that is not published may be removed when it is no longer needed.

Withdrawal and questions

To ask about your information or request that KPP stop future use of a contribution, email kapwapinoypamana@gmail.com and include your submission reference where possible. Limits on removing already shared material are explained in the Contributor Terms.

Children

KPP does not knowingly accept direct submissions from people under 18 without appropriate parental or legal guardian consent.
